From the outset the central aim of the challenge was not just to row the Atlantic but to raise money for and awareness of 4 particular charities. Chris, Tim, Wayne & Joby each represent a charity that has a particular personal meaning to them individually.

All monies donated will go towards funding the challenge. The surplus proceeds will be donated equally to the four charities.
